About Us

MIM is the AAA hockey  program for North River, Kensington, North Star, and South Side Minor Hockey Associations. Our home associations each ice A teams as members of Hockey PEI. North River ices their own AA teams, while Kensington, North Star, and South Side combine to form Gulf Storm at the AA level.

Mid Isle Matrix was founded in 2006 when our home associations decided to combine North River and Gulf Storm organizations for the AAA levels.

Our Board

Our Board is made up of 2 representatives (8 total) from each home association, and 1 Chair. Board members each serve a 3 year term. The Chair is also elected to a 3 year term. The Chair is chosen from the Board members, and a replacement is chosen from that association.
